Bullet Mark Sticker (1995-)

In this piece I use a pattern made by a bullet that was shot though a sheet of glass.
I then had this pattern reproduced into stickers.I stuck them on plate glass in the gallery-museum.
In a sense I created a 'virtual accident', where there is no perpetrator or victim, Just a remnant of an action.

This shattered, bullet-ridden surface is a metaphor for our society; overwhelmed by between the living and the inanimate object, whose surface has been covered with bullet marks, no longer responds to it function as an object, but only as a punctual surface, we, too, when overwhelmed by sensation, do not respond as humans, but only as numb,'virtual' surface.
