Safty Pin (1996-)

The 'safety' of the 'safety pin' working on the system of facing inside.
The part which is bent and the small void space of the head part for holding, enfolding, covering and fastening the sharp point, work to protect us.

I smashed the void space of the head part of a safety pin. (The part for holding, enfolding, covering, and fastening,
which is the part to protect the user from the sharp point.)
In part of a 'safety pin', I made a 'helical coil' by rolling and curving up its body.
In part of a 'safety pin', I made a 'parabola' by extending and opening the coiled spring part of its body.
In part of a 'safety pin', I made a 'straight line' by lengthening the coiled spring part of its body.
In part of a 'safety pin', I made a 'wavy line' by extending, curling and curving its body.
In part of a 'safety pin', I made a 'free line' by extending, curling and curving its body.

Their sharp points are made to face inside or to another side, by curling, coiling, waving and by lengthening.
